June 13th 2026 – Roseanne Myers, former General Manager of Atlantis Submarines Barbados Inc. takes home ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’ at the BHTA’s Awards Ceremony.
The Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association (BHTA) hosted its Awards Gala under the theme; ‘Stars of our Story’. Wyndham Grand Barbados Sam Lord’s Castle hosted the event which was attended by the Minister of Tourism and International Transport, the Hon. Ian Gooding-Edghill MP who gave the opening remarks. Also present were specially invited guests, Sponsors, the media and a wide range of tourism partners representing Hotels, Restaurants, Attractions & other Direct Tourism Services.
18 Awards were presented on the night with the outgoing chairman of the BHTA, Javon Griffith announcing that Roseanne Myers was the recipient of the prestigious ‘Lifetime Achievement Award’, which was met with a standing ovation by attendees. Mrs. Myers was recognized for her outstanding contribution to the tourism industry of Barbados as her family and members of the Atlantis Submarines Barbados (ASB) Team were present to share in this memorable occasion.
