The Barbados male and female volleyball teams did their country proud by returning from Jamaica at the Under 17 Caribbean Zonal Volleyball Association (CAZOVA) tournament with Gold and Silver medals respectively.
The General Manager of Atlantis Submarines Barbados explained why they reached out to coach Elwyn Oxley to invite the team." It is with great pleasure that we welcome the male and female Under 17 teams to Atlantis with their manager and coaches. Positive disciplined young people that have represented their country so spectacularly need to be recognised and held as shining examples of dedication and hard work. This is our tangible way of saying congratulations.
Wayne Scott, Marketing Representative of Atlantis Submarines and himself an avid volleyball player joined in the welcome and explained the significance of that tournament and believes that experiencing the submarine tour as a unit, further strengthens the comradery of the group: "Congratulations! You have put in the hard work, achieved great results at CAZOVA and now it is time to enjoy a fun activity together".
