Atlantis Submarines is thrilled to announce the promotion of Robert Hinds to Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Atlantis Submarines Barbados.
Robert Hinds has been promoted from Operations Manager to Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective Dec 1, 2025. Robert brings thirty-eight (38) years of direct tourism industry experience to the role. He started as the company's youngest submarine pilot and is respected for his operational and analytical skills.
"Robert demonstrates a strong ability to collaborate with teams throughout all company departments. His comprehensive understanding of departmental operations has been instrumental in achieving the organisation's strategic goals, delivering outstanding guest experiences, maintaining necessary certifications, and upholding meticulous financial management practices. He continues to be an absolute joy to work with says Roseanne Myers."
Mrs. Myers, the past General Manager, will continue with the company in the role of Business Consultant.
Mr. Hinds is committed to sustainability, leading Green Globe international certification achievements internally, in the private sector as a member of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce Green committee, and nationally as a director of the Barbados Environmental Sustainability Fund (BESF). His expertise in operations and technical matters, coupled with decades in general management, makes him well-suited to lead Atlantis Submarines Barbados forward.
