When all was abuzz with Christmas preparations, Atlantis Submarines was energised as the team prepared for the nuptials of our Chef Lydia Springer and Kyle Gittens in the waters above dive site at Fresh Water Bay Reef.
When Lydia joined Atlantis Submarines in early 2025 to assist with the build out of our new offering Cafe Sublime, she hatched an idea that an offshore wedding incorporating a submarine dive was a perfect way for her to start her journey with then fiance Kyle.
On December 21 2025, she made it their reality. The Atlantis Submarine's tender vessel, Ocean Quest made its way off shore with the bridal party and guests, and awaited the arrival of the bride, Lydia, on the Atlantis XV. Once the vessels were tethered together Lydia ascended the stairs of the sub with grace and the guests had their first glimpse of her in bridal attire. The one hundred 100 close friends and family witnessed the joining of Kyle and Lydia in holy matrimony on board the Ocean Quest. As the guests enjoyed their cocktails the couple and bridal party took their first Atlantis night dive as Mr. and Mrs Gittens where they were greeted underwater with nocturnal fish and scuba divers with large banners congratulating the newlyweds. Chief Executive Officer Robert Hinds who was on hand to ensure all ran smoothly commented "How deep is your love" was magically playing in our heads as we celebrated with the happy couple".

Atlantis branded Submarines operate in Hawaii, Aruba, Cozumel and Barbados and have collectively taken over seventeen million guests on over 500,000 dives world wide.
